Aqua Park to be opened in Lagodekhi, Kakheti

An aqua park will be opened in the town of Lagodekhi of Kakheti Region in Eastern Georgia in a year. A foundation was laid to the new complex today. Georgian prime minister attended the ceremony.

New Cross erected upon the dome of Bagrati Temple

New cross has been erected upon the dome of the Bagrati Temple, which was reconstructed under the project of a Georgian architect, Vano Gremelashvili. Along with hundreds of worshippers, President Saakashvili attended the ceremony.  

CEC registers election bloc Bidzina Ivanishvili - Georgian Dream

Bidzina Ivanishvili`s coalition has been registered by the Central Election Commission - the election bloc has been named Bidzina Ivanishvili - Georgian Dream and it has been given the election number 7. Coalition`s press speaker Maia Panjikidze announced about this at the briefing today.

Free Georgia party presents its MP candidate to Chiatura

Leader of the Free Georgia Party, Kakha Kukava introduced the party`s majoritarian MP candidate to Chiatura voters today. Temur Japaridze will try to win the MP mandate from this town of Imereti Region. Kakha Kukava also presented the election program of the party and its main priorities.  

Irakli Alasania visited a family in Anaklia

Leader of the Georgian Dream coalition, Irakli Alasania visited Abuladzes` family in Anaklia today. One of the members of the family, Gogita Abuladze, is missing since January 18, 2012 and the family does not know the whereabouts of the boy. Irakli Alasania accused the law enforcers of negligence in the investigation of the boy`s disappearance. 

Health Minister visited hospital in Adigeni

Minister of Health, Labour and Social Care of Georgia, Zurab Chiaberashvili visited Adigeni medical center Unimed Samtskhe today to check up if the medical center is prepared to serve the increased number of patients from September 1, after the new state-funded insurance program is enforced.
