Opera Friends` Council - a new foundation was presented to media at the Tbilisi Marriot today. The goal of the foundation is to encourage and support the development and promotion of Georgian opera. One of the founders of the Opera Friends` Council is Georgian businessman Davit Kezerashvili. The foundation will provide sponsoring of Georgian opera singers` participation in various international contests; it will provide social and material assistance to the opera troupe and purchase necessary inventory for the Tbilisi opera house. Other business persons have also joined the Opera Friends` Council, who will work on the opera development action plan together. Tbilisi mayor Gigi Ugulava attended the presentation today. He was elected the honorary chairperson of the foundation.
Tbilisi is hosting the days of Dutch architecture - projects of 15 Dutch architects are exhibited at the Expo-Georgia Exhibition Center in Tbilisi. One of the projects exposed at the event is the project of Kutaisi Kopitnari Airport.

Robert Sturua has been appointed the art director of the Rustaveli Academic Theatre officially today. The decision was taken by the minister of culture of Georgia and the staff of the theatre was introduced with this decision this morning.
