Georgian, Czech speakers briefed for media after meeting

Georgian Parliament Speaker Davit Bakradze hosted the speaker of the Senate of the Czech Parliament Milan Štěch today. The two speakers discussed enhancement t of bilateral relations, intensification of economic ties and prospects of Czech investments in Georgia.
`With this country we have very close friendly relation and we always enjoyed support and do so today in all important issues for us. The Czech Senate was one of the first legislative governments of Europe, which adopted a very strong resolution on the support to Georgia in the days of Russian aggression in 2008. Today, we discussed very many important issues, support to Georgia in the process of integration into the EU and the NATO. Czech Republic is traditionally our supporter country,` Davit Bakradze said.
In his turn, Milan Štěch mentioned the upcoming summit of NATO in Chicago and hoped the Alliance member states would have a firm position regarding Georgia`s integration into NATO. The Czech speaker reaffirmed the support of his country to Georgia`s integration into west European structures.
