Parliament to discuss amendments to the state budget

162,3 million GEl will be allocated from the state budget of Georgia for the disaster elimination programs prepared by the government after the last week`s hail and windstorm in the country, which affected Kakheti Region most of all. The amendments to the state budget have been already submitted to parliament for adoption. The explanation card attached to the document initiated at the parliament, 82,3 million GEL will be allocated from the state budget, while 80 million was donated by various organizations. In addition, 50 million GEL will be allocated for the implementation of the program `elimination of disaster consequences. The program aims to fund the rehabilitation of the houses damaged by the windstorm and hail, providing affected families with food products and compensating damage to farmers.
The draft amendments to the state budget will be discussed at the parliamentary committees today.
