Parliament speaker met with the resident of Khoni

Chairperson of the parliament of Georgia Davit Bakradze arrived in the town of Khoni today and met with locals to introduce the government`s new initiatives, which include the new pension package, medical insurance and the 1000 GEL voucher program. Bakradze listened to the locals, who complained about the problems of natural gas system, employment and street lighting. The locals also spoke about the damaged sector of the Khoni-Tskaltubo motorway, which has not been rehabilitated since it was constructed forty years ago. Davit Bakradze said the rehabilitation works would begin in two weeks. Within the visit to Khoni, Davit Bakradze visited a family of Dzidziguris in Khoni, which runs a furniture factory. They said the factory had employed forty people.
