President attends beginning of construction of new hotel in Batumi

Orbi Group will construct a new hotel complex in Adjara`s seaside city of Batumi. A 35 storey hotel will be built on the Kobaladze Street and it will be equipped with the inventory produced in Adjara.
President Mikheil Saakashvili attended the beginning of the construction in Batumi today.
At the beginning, 1000 people will be employed on the construction of the building, but afterwards the number of the employs will increase.
Member of the parliament from United National Movement Giorgi Vashadze has expressed his concerns regarding the regress in country`s economy. MP Vashadze briefed at the Politiko press club today and said: `Process of economic development in Georgia is going backwards`.
The Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance has begun inspection at the municipal company The City of Lights, which works on lighting systems in the capital. The inspectors took away all financial documents from the company.

Georgia`s most popular mineral water Borjomi has been allowed to Russian market - Russian media has reported based on the information provided by the Russia`s consumer watchdog Rospotrebnadzor.
