Aircrafts involved in rescue operation for 4 alpinists
Aircrafts have been involved in the rescue operation for Russian alpinists on the mount of Mkinvartsveri of the Greater Caucasus Range in Georgia. The group of four alpinists has stopped at the height of 3700 meters on the slope of the mount.
One of the sportsmen has received a fracture of his leg therefore, the group was not able to continue their way to the Tetnuldi Peak.
A group of rescuers has already taken off to the alpinists` camp, although they could not reach the camp as the rock fall impeded their way.
The Russian alpinists sett off for the expedition five days ago. They received last consultations from their Georgian host. Details of the incident are uncertain yet. According to some reports, they fell into the place difficult of access due to the rock fall.
