Representatives of Georgian Diasporas hold rallies

At the fourth anniversary of the Russia-Georgia war in August 2008, representatives of the Georgian Diaspora in Sweden held a meeting at the Georgian Embassy in Stockholm today.
Georgian Ambassador to Sweden and Finland, Konstantine Kavtaradze, addressed teh guests assembled at the embassy.
The Russian Lessons, the documentary film by Russian journalist Andrei Nekrasov was shown at the meeting. An exhibition depicting the visit of presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Ukraine to Tbilisi on August 2008 was also organized at the embassy.
The organizers stressed significance of the strong support of Swedish Foreign Minister Karl Bildt for Georgia.
Representatives of the Georgian Diaspora held a protest rally against the Russian aggression outside the Russian embassy in Vilnius, Lithuania. They urged Russia to withdraw its armed forces from the Georgian territories and fulfill its international commitments.
The rally participants left their signatures on teh map of Georgia and left it at the Russian Embassy in Vilnius.
