PM, Healthcare Minister continue inspecting healthcare system

Georgian Prime Minister and Healthcare Minister continue inspecting operation of the healthcare system, as medical centers are expected to accept increased number of insured patients since September 1, 2012.
After having presented the 1505 health insurance new hotline of the healthcare ministry, Vano Merabishvili and Zurab Tchiaberashvili visited the Family Medicine National Training Center today, where they met emergency physicians of various clinics.
At the meeting, the prime minister said that within the new governmental program - More Benefits for the People - number of insured citizens will rise by 900,000 throughout the country, therefore, the healthcare system must be prepared for that.
At the meeting, Vano Merabishvili stressed necessity of salary increase for the medical staff along with the increase of calls to the medical centers.
