Two influential ministers of the Israeli government have voiced an initiative to abolish visa regime with Georgia - the proposal was voiced at the meeting with Minister of Sustainable Development and Economics of Georgia, Mrs. Vera Kobalia. The ministers agreed that the abolition of the visa regime will be a new stimulus for the business circles of both countries to plan and implement new joint projects; in addition, the decision will facilitate development of tourism in both countries. Vera Kobalia also held meeting with the Minister of Transport and Road Security Israel Katz focused on the growth of competition in the aviation sector.
Member of the parliament from United National Movement Giorgi Vashadze has expressed his concerns regarding the regress in country`s economy. MP Vashadze briefed at the Politiko press club today and said: `Process of economic development in Georgia is going backwards`.
