President attended Valeri Meladze`s concert in Batumi
Famous Georgian singer, Valeri Meladze, who lives in Russia, held a concert on Batumi Piazza last night. Valeri Meladze sang his hits and several popular Georgian songs for the spectators. President Saakashvili, who was one of the authors of the idea of the concert, was also present at the concert. It was a charitable event and the money profited from the concert will be transferred to the accounts of orphanages in Georgia. The singer thanked the organizers of the concert, president for its idea and Catholicos Patriarch for blessing him.
