Georgia`s champion football club remains without coach

Georgia`s champion, FC Zestaponi has remained without a coach. Gia Geguchadze, who led the team to the play-off of UEFA Europe League, voluntarily resigned Tuesday ahead of the very important forthcoming match.

On August 18, the Zestaponi is hosting Brugge, Belgium`s one of the best football clubs.

Gia Geghuchadze confirmed today the reports on his resignation. He told Courier news of Rustavi 2 that the cause of his resignation was the team`s falling out of the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

Therefore, owner of the club Ilia Kokaia said in his phone conversation with Courier news today that he has not signed any resignation paper so far.
