Georgia U17 team returns to Georgia

15.05.12 11:54

Georgia U17 football team returned to Georgia last night - fans greeted the young footballers in the Tbilisi airport. Georgian U17 football team has been kicked off the U17 Europe championship from semi-final, where they played with ten footballers from the 16th minute from the start. Experts say some of the decisions taken by a Romanian referee were unfair, as he gave two yellow cards to the captain of the team Nika Chanturia.
Georgian footballers and their coach accuse the referee of making several mistakes. Despite the result, Georgian U17 team is the first Georgian team, which was among four best teams of Europe in this tournament.
