The Tbilisi City Court will resume the hearing on the case of Gigi Ugulava and Davit Kezerashvili - who are accused on machinations during the sell off of the Imedi TV and the Rike Park in Tbilisi. The hearing will begin at 13:00 today.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili called the court`s decision to erder pre-trial detention for suspended mayor of Tbilisi and one of the leaders of UNM opposition political party Gigi Ugilava, "celebration of justice".
"We are following closely the arrest of Mr Gigi Ugulava at Tbilisi airport on 3 July", the statement released by the spokesperson of High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy for the European Union Catherine Ashton says.
"This is a serious matter for Georgia and the U.S. is following the case closely", U.S. ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland said when commenting on the pre-trial detention of Gigi Ugulava, the chief of the election campaign of UNM opposition political party.
