"Who wants 20.000", the Georgian version of the popular British show, debuted on Rustavi 2 in 2001. In the beginning the show was broadcast in its traditional format. Players won money by answering questions. On 23rd Septemder, 2009 the intellectual game returned on Rustavi 2 featuring charity format. 

The show turned out to be the only one to engage the players and the audience in charity doing. Famous faces won money in order to help extremely poor and sick people. Much bigger was the audience`s sympathy, which dialed number 9444 and sent money by telephone, calling during every show.

During the period more than 90 famous people have taken part in the TV game and accordingly helped 90 people in need. Celebrities won about 300.000 GEL for them, while the audience donated about 3 mln GEL in total.
